Vince Cable MP will speak about his experience as a cabinet minister dealing with the economic fallout of the financial crash. He is also the author of ‘The Storm’ and ‘After The Storm’, both books about the 2008 world economic crisis. Vince Cable is also an alumni of the Young Fabians.

Vince Cable (@vincecable) is MP for Twickenham since 2017 and Leader of the Liberal Democrats.

Jonathan Hopkin (@jrhopkin) is Associate Professor of Comparative Politics in the LSE Department of Government.

This event is co-hosted by the LSE Department of Government and the Young Fabians Alumni Network.
