Programme summary
The study trip programme welcomes participants eager to explore Chinese language, culture, and business. The programme features immersive language exchanges with locals, cultural workshops, visits to historical and natural landmarks, and exclusive company tours (for example, Huawei) tailored specifically for our participants.

Please note:
- For a detailed breakdown of other fees, please refer to the programme schedule here.
- Only accommodations (9 nights) in Wuhan, Xiangyang, and Shenzhen are arranged and provided by the programme and are included in the "arranged accommodation." These default accommodations consist of double rooms shared by two participants. If you strongly prefer a single room, we will make every effort to accommodate your request; however, due to the limited availability of single rooms, you may need to stay in a shared room.
- For Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, please arrange your own accommodations, as these costs are not included in the "arranged accommodation." The estimated cost for a 6-night stay in these cities is £300. For programme recommended accommodations, please refer to the programme schedule.

Participants are capped at 30. We encourage you to apply as early as possible. Interview may be needed if we receive more than 30 applications.

It is particularly recognized for its research in areas like education, psychology, and environmental science. The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK Shenzhen), established in 2014, is a leading university located in the dynamic city of Shenzhen, China. It is a branch of the prestigious Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and focuses on providing high-quality education and research with an international perspective. Refund policies
The programme fee and administration fee are non-refundable.
Refunds for other fees will follow the timeline below:
- Full refund: Requests made by 7 April 2025 (UK time).
- Half refund: Requests made by 9 May 2025 (UK time).
- No refund: Requests made after 9 May 2025 (UK time).
