Chinese Language and Culture for Business is a part-time, 40 weeks executive course at LSE. This is a flexible programme using blended learning approach so that busy Londoners can learn Chinese at their own pace, with their own schedule.

The Chinese Language and Culture for Business London (CLCB) course is an online executive programme for anyone with a global vision and an interest in China. This 5-month programme is delivered using a blended learning approach and will empower you to communicate effectively in the Chinese business context.

CIBL has been running group and one-to-one classes for companies since 2007. As a Confucius Institute for business, we understand that our clients have busy schedules and cannot always manage to travel to a third location to study. As such, we work with our clients to bring Chinese learning into the companies themselves.

The programme provides an immersion experience for participants to rapidly improve their Chinese, regardless of their level, in a short period of time. The 2 day or 5 day immersion programme will introduce you to this beautiful language or help perfect your existing Chinese skills. 

The Global Youth Leadership Program, developed and run by the Confucius Institute for Business London, is an exclusive 10-day (two weeks) initiative designed for students aspiring to expand their global outlook and preparing for future studies at world-renowned universities, including those in the UK.

Tailor-made courses envisaged include intensive one-to-one language courses. These courses may be aimed at developing language skills, preparing to deliver a presentation in Chinese or learning about specific industry related topics such as Chinese banking, law, politics or economics.

The China-UK Cultural Awareness and Intercultural Communication Programme give staff knowledge of Chinese business culture in a short period of time, meeting its core values of local excellence/global standards.

This 3-day teacher training workshop can shape your career as a mandarin teacher. It is jointly organised by CIBL and Tsinghua University, China. Certificates will be issued after successful completion of the training course.

CIBL offers bespoke events to companies wishing to promote multi-cultural awareness and provide an opportunity for staff to learn more about Chinese language and culture. CIBL has worked with a number of international companies based in London to deliver in-company events to celebrate traditional Chinese festivals such as the Spring Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival.
