Data (and data science) in the Markets divisions of investment banks

As a student, it can be difficult to navigate the complexities of the corporate world and the career opportunities on offer.

This talk will provide a brief introduction to the world of financial institutions and the types of careers they offer for (data) scientists, with a focus on the Markets divisions of investment banks. James will attempt to demystify some of the industry jargon for students and aims to provide a personal, informal, and interactive reflection on the role of data (and data scientists) in Markets now and in the future.
