Zambia Evidence Lab

The ZEL is a Ministry of Finance and National Planning initiative, supported by the International Growth Centre (IGC) at LSE. The DSI worked with the IGC to appoint Toby Edison, the data engineer for the ZEL, who is partly based at the DSI.

DIVIDED: preventing the polarising effects of economic inequality

In 2024, Dr Miriam Sorace was awarded a Future Leadership Fellowship from the government’s UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) funding body for her DIVIDED research project. DSI is a partner on the project and will host one postdoc and one PhD candidate from the DIVIDED team over two consecutive years to support her research
