You're now #PartofLSE. What's next?

In this webinar you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the vital role that the Students’ Union (LSESU) plays in fostering a vibrant and inclusive community at LSE. Led by the LSE Students’ Union sabbatical officers, this event will offer you insights into the diverse range of services, activities, and initiatives that they provide.

This interactive session will include:

  • Insights into the Students’ Union’s role in representing your interests and advocating for positive changes within the university, covering how you can get involved in student governance and have your voice heard.
  • An introduction to the diverse array of student-led groups that can help you pursue your passions, meet like-minded individuals, and develop valuable skills outside the classroom.
  • An introduction to the support services available to you as an LSE student through the LSESU, including academic advice, mental health resources, and financial support.
  • The chance to hear from the LSESU General Secretary, the Activities and Development Officer, and the Community and Welfare Officer.
  • A Q&A session to put your questions to LSESU representatives and former students.

About the LSE Students’ Union

The LSE Students’ Union (LSESU) is a not-for-profit organisation led by LSE students, for LSE students. The LSESU’s aim is to help students, from across levels of study and from all backgrounds, make the most of all the life-changing experiences open to them during their time at LSE. About Destination LSE events

Destination LSE events are designed to welcome our newest students into the LSE community. Whether you're an incoming undergraduate, graduate or study abroad student, these informal events will help prepare you for life on campus and in London.

Each event is designed to help you answer a simple question about your next steps, or what to expect from LSE. The series will cover topics including where to find accommodation, budgeting, career development, joining Students' Union clubs and societies, finding part-time jobs, the learning support available to you on campus, and what to expect from your first weeks at the School.
