Booking accommodation
Accommodation in all LSE halls of residence for Summer School 2025 will open shortly. Applicants who have booked their summer school study spaces will receive a notification once the system is open for bookings.
We are unable to facilitate early arrivals at urbanest Westminster Bridge and Sidney Webb House.
If you need to book preparatory English course accommodation, please indicate this when making your booking for your main sessions. We'll email you shortly after to confirm if we have been able to make a booking for you for the extra dates, and how you can make payment.

All our halls are in Central London, so you won't have to travel far.
To share a room, all students must be attending the LSE Summer School. Each student needs to complete the booking process separately. If you would like us to allocate you with another student(s), all students must book the same room type, in the same hall, for the same dates.
To enable us to match roommates, both students must list each other as their preferred roommate at the time of booking. Please note that any roommate requests must be made at least 1 week prior to arrival.
We accept online payments via Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards. You will be required to settle payment in full online at the time of booking.Your booking will be confirmed instantly (subject to the payment going through) via email. We strongly encourgae you to pay online to ensure your booking is confirmed quickly, however, if you want to pay by bank transfer, you must notify us via our contact form.
Once we receive your request, we will provide you with details to make a bank transfer. Once you have completed the bank transfer, please email us proof of payment within 2 working days. If we do not hear from you, your booking will be cancelled. Once we receive payment into our bank account, we will contact you to confirm the booking. Please note that this can take up to 21 days. We encourage all students to pay online via card to enable swift confirmation of bookings.

Accommodation update
You can receive a full refund of the accommodation fees if you cancel up to 21 days beforearrival. For full details, see the LSE Summer School accommodation terms and conditions [PDF]
The quickest way to submit a cancellation request is to use the 'Cancel' option online from within your LSE Accommodation Account. If you are not able to do this, please use our online contact form on this page to submit your cancellation request. Please note we only accept online cancellations via our contact form or online cancellation requests submitted within the LSE Accommodation portal. Cancellation of your study programme does not automatically mean that your accommodation is cancelled.

One hall has gym facilities:
- urbanest Westminster Bridge has a gym room, sauna and swimming pool. Access will be free of charge for students who register at reception to use these facilities. Please note some maintenance works will be completed over the summer, so access may be limited at times and subject to availability.
Alternatively, you're welcome to use the LSE Students' Union gym.
