Catering and kitchens
High Holborn is a self-catered hall. Well equipped kitchens are provided in each flat. For details of what's in the kitchen see What we provide in each hall [PDF].
During the academic year 2024/25, accommodation fees at High Holborn are inclusive of 3 complimentary breakfasts per week (Monday -Friday), during the term time, in the Fourth Floor Restaurant. The Fourth Floor Restaurant is located on campus and offers a variety of healthy and delicious breakfast options.
Breakfast is served from 8am to 10:30am on weekdays, and you can choose from either a full English breakfast or a continental breakfast, with one hot or cold beverage. You will be required to download the LSE Food Club App to redeem your complimentary breakfasts, and further information on how to do this will be provided prior to your arrival at the start of term.
Layout
Flat-style with rooms grouped into flats of four or five bedrooms with shared kitchen, shower and toilet facilities. All rooms have wash-basins. There are same sex flats and mixed flats in this hall (subject to availability), students should be aware of their selection when booking.
What's included in the rent?
Wi-Fi, insurance and utility bills. Also includes common room activities and portable appliance testing.

Cleaning
Communal areas are cleaned daily. Kitchens are cleaned once a week only. You are responsible for keeping your kitchen tidy and for cleaning your own room.
