The Hon'ble Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr Shahid Khaqan Abbasi visited the LSE on 4 November 2017 at the invitation of LSE South Asia Centre. Mr Abbasi spoke to an invited audience of students, alumni and guests, and later engaged in a Q&A with the audience. The event was chaired by LSE Director Dame Minouche Shafik.
The Hon'ble Prime Minister Mr Abbasi announced his government's commitment to support the Jinnah Visiting Professorship at the LSE South Asia Centre. LSE has over 105 students from Pakistan this year.
