After living in India, Tanzania, Ghana and the UK, I have developed a keen interest in policymaking, especially related to economic development. I have loved studying here so far and I am extremely excited to continue my journey in London! I am adamant on using this opportunity to not only ameliorate my individual intellectual experience, but also be an emblem of YOUR voice and concerns.

I am Konstantin, a second-year BSc International Social and Public Policy student and one of your student academic representatives. Having served in this role last year, I’m familiar with its demands and principal objectives aimed at making our community a better place. I am also a Laidlaw Leadership and Research Scholar, with my research interests including the exploration of public policymaking dynamics in authoritarian contexts, such as in my home country, Russia. I am very excited to represent you this year. If there are any questions or concerns you would like raised with departmental staff, please feel free to reach out at k.chopov@lse.ac.uk.

Anisa Mansour

Hi everyone! My name is Anisa Mansour, and I am the Third Year ISPP (with Development) Student Representative. I’m from Vancouver, Canada but I lived in London until I was 10, and so this city has always felt like home! I have been a student rep since I started at the LSE, and I absolutely love how it allows me to engage with my peers, advocate for our needs, and establish relationships with faculty members. Outside of academics, I am the Vice President of The Houghtones, LSE’s only a cappella group, and I am a committee member of the LSESU Amnesty International Society. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns!
