Yangon, Myanmar/Burma. A few years after the opening of the country, while the victory of the democratic party of Aung San Suu Kyi was confirmed through the ballot, the documentary film Yanmagon drew up a portrait of the changing city. In this film, architects, photographers, activists, journalists, poets - the actors of the change bring us to the heart of their city.
Following the film screening of Yanmagon: Faces of Yangon, there will be a Q&A session with François Le Pivain, director of the documentary. A small reception with drinks and nibbles will be held afterwards, where guests and speakers can continue their discussion.
Please find the trailer of the documentary here.
