This course is compulsory on the MPhil/PhD in Government and PhD in Political Science. This course is available as an outside option to students on other programmes where regulations permit.

Mainly for second and subsequent year research students and staff in Government and elsewhere in the School involved in research in political science and/or political economy. First year MRes and research students may also attend if they wish.

Course content

Research students will present papers that are either close to submission or are work in progress. In weeks when students do not present, we will have presentations from departmental staff and occasional visitors. Several sessions might be set aside for research students to practice their 'Job Talk' presentations.

Teaching

15 hours of seminars in the MT. 15 hours of seminars in the LT.

The workshop will meet every second week in the MT, LT and ST.
