The purpose of this project was to enhance the didactic capacity of Tunis Business School (TBS), University of Tunis, on the level of International Relations teaching. To do so, this project entailed collaborative teaching and research development as well as capacity building components. It strengthened the teaching, assessment and course development capacities of International Relations courses at TBS. It also enhanced the overall academic experience of TBS students and contributed to developing their intellectual and critical thinking skills. Through training potentially hundreds of University of Tunis students in the methods, theories and concepts of International Relations, this project had a broader societal impact. In particular, it contributed to the employability of young Tunisians, in a context where youth unemployment is as high as 30% in places, as well as to their ability to be engaged and effective citizens in Tunisia’s post-revolution social and economic development.
This project forms part of the Academic Collaboration with Arab Universities Programme, funded by the Emirates Foundation.
