Dr Shamel Azmeh

Shamel Azmeh is a senior lecture at the Global Development Institute (GDI) at the University of Manchester. His research focuses on global production and trade regimes with a regional focus on the Middle East and North Africa. Shamel has a BSc in economics from the University of Damascus in Syria and a masters and PhD degrees from the University of Manchester. He has also worked and advised a number of international organisations.
