With a background in design and development, Ribale managed the Centre’s communications and outreach work, and its research impact. She coordinated the Centre’s publications and blog, and oversaw its social media and web presence. Ribale joined the MEC in August 2011. Prior to becoming Communications Manager, she was Centre Coordinator running the Centre’s events programme and managing the Emirates Collaboration with Arab Universities Programme. In January 2020, Ribale left the Middle East Centre to pursue other projects.

After completing her undergraduate studies in Graphic Design at the American University of Beirut, she pursued her Master’s in Design for Development at Kingston University London, funded by the Audi Design Foundation. In 2011, she was Campaign Officer at Climate Week, helping establish the campaign in its first year as part of the communications team.
