Davide was a Visiting Fellow at the Middle East Centre and an Assistant Professor in Applied Economics at Cambridge University. His research combines Geography, Political Economy, and Public Economics to focus on the politics of policy delivery and development at the local level. Before joining Cambridge University Davide was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School of Government, worked for the European Commission, and consulted for the European Parliament. He holds a PhD in Economic Geography from the London School of Economics (LSE). Davide's thesis was awarded the 2016 G. Leonardi PhD Dissertation Prize and the 2014 G. Atalık Prize.
