The Department of Media and Communications at LSE celebrates its 10th Anniversary and invites you to join a day of robust and lively debates on the four themes of its research agenda: mediated public spheres, digital literacies, governance & innovation and trans-national cultures.
Bringing together LSE scholars with leading international figures in the field, the panels engage with key questions of our time: What are the priorities that Media and Communications research, in the age of hyper-mediation and networked communication? Which conceptual and analytical tools are we to use? Which normative evaluations of our mediascapes should critical social science offer? And how can Media and Communications scholarship contribute not only to understanding but also changing the world?
