The competition for places on the Department of Management PhD programme is intense. Our selection process starts with a detailed review of your application by our Programme Directors and Faculty Groups to select candidates for interview.
If you have been invited for interview, you will be contacted during the last week in February. We plan to hold interviews between 28 February and 15 March. All interviews are online and usually last around one hour. We expect to start contacting successful applicants with offers to join our Programmes by the end of March.
All applicants are advised to regularly check their inbox and spam folders for further communications and updates to your application.

In line with the LSE’s principle to Advance Higher Education’s Race Equality Charter, the Department of Management is participating in the Aiming for a College Education Programme – Postgraduate Research Programmes (ACE - PGR). It is an initiative to widen access and participation for UK BAME applicants and students who are underrepresented in PGR programmes across LSE. This scheme will provide support to BAME candidates at three key stages of the PGR lifecycle: (1) Access, (2) Student Success, and (3) Career Progression.
