Martina's interests lie between biotech, healthcare innovation and academia. Currently, she is a Global HEOR Lead in Chiesi Farmaceutici where she leads HEOR activities and shapes market access strategy across company’s pipeline. Additionally, she is a Honorary Research Associate at Imperial College London (ICL) and Visiting Research Fellow at London School of Economics and Politician Science (LSE). Martina’s academic interests focus on ageing and end-of-life care, longitudinal population studies, medtech, innovation diffusion, healthcare delivery and health policy. She is particularly interested in observational longitudinal studies of ageing and their ability to study determinants of health late in life, long-term and end-of-life care to inform policy across all aspects of ageing including health and social care. Martina has previously worked in Biogen, served as an advisor to the World Health Organization, the Government of Qatar, and several health insurance and consultancy companies. Martina holds a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Business Economics (Finance) from the University of Zagreb, a Master’s in International Health Policy – Health Economics from LSE and a PhD in Clinical Medicine Research from ICL.
