Mr Malik is a Visiting Senior Fellow at LSE Health and a practicing Upper GI Consultant Surgeon at Homerton Hospital. His research interests focus on improving value, quality and patient orientated outcomes. Since completing his PhD from Imperial Colleges coveted institute of Global health and Innovation he has also held roles with LSE Consulting with projects focussing on improving healthcare efficiency whilst promoting innovation. He has full time clinical practice with interests in Emergency, Benign upper GI, bariatric and complex ventral hernia repair at Homerton where he concurrently acts as the lead for surgical clinical governance, acute surgical services and recently has also been appointed Director of Research and Innovation.
