After working at the Institute of Child Health, London, on the diagnosis of rare, inherited lysosomal storage disorders and the Medical Research Council, London Jean Mossman became Chief Executive at CancerBACUP, a cancer information charity. In her tenure she developed the charity’s role in patient advocacy and in the early appraisals for cancer medicines by England’s National Institute of Heath and Care Excellence (NICE), including successfully overturning a draft negative appraisal.
Jean provides patient-relevant input to the MTRG research programmes such as Advance HTA and IMPACT HTA.
