Luay has an MA in Translation and Linguistics from SOAS, obtained in 2001. He joined LSE/the Language Centre in 2004 and teaches beginners through to advanced levels.
He is the author of 'Test Your Arabic' which is an exercise book for beginners and intermediate level learners. His main interest is in developing courses and materials in teaching Arabic as a foreign language for all levels using new technology and methods.
