Jasper is a PhD Student in Economic Geography. His research focuses on local labour market effects, economic development, migration, and innovation.
Jasper has a background in Economics. Prior to joining LSE, Jasper worked as a Junior Economists at the OECD, where he engaged in research on migration, regional development, and economic transitions. Furthermore, he was a Consultant for the OECD and LSE. He holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Mannheim and a BSc in Economics and Business Adminstration from the University of Tübingen. During his studies, he worked as a Research Assistant at ZEW - Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research and as an Intern at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin).
