The King's Honours system is a way of giving public recognition for merit, service or bravery and are announced twice a year – on the King's official birthday and at the beginning of a new calendar year.
Dr Joanne Bray OBE (Executive Master's in Public Policy 2020)

Dr Joanne Bray is the Director of Advanced Manufacturing in the Department for Business and Trade and has been awarded an OBE for services to the Automotive Industry.

Dame Commander of the Order of the Bath
Dame Karen P Buck was recently the Member of Parliament for Westminster North and received the Dame Commander of the Order of the Bath for Parliamentary and Political Services.
Alan Evans CB (BSc Government 1987)
Order of Bath Companion
Alan Evans CB is a Director General in HM Revenue and Customs and was awarded the Order of Bath Companion for services to the Government Legal Profession, to Tax and to Diversity.
Wanda Goldwag OBE (BSc Economics 1977)

Wanda Goldwag is the Chair of the Leasehold Advisory Service LEASE and received an OBE for services to Leaseholders.
Georgia A Gould OBE (MSc in Global Politics 2011)

Georgia Gould is a Councillor and Leader of Camden Council, who was awarded an OBE for services to Local Government.

Dame Commander of the Order of the Bath
Dame Rebecca E Harris currently holds the Government post of Comptroller (HM Household) (Whip, House of Commons) and was the Member of Parliament for Castle Point from 2010-24. She received her Damehood for Political and Public Service.
Dr Henry G Overman OBE (MSc Econometrics and Math Economics 1995, MPhil/PhD Economics 2000)

Dr Henry G Overman OBE is Professor of Economic Geography in LSE’s Department of Geography and Environment and Research Director of the Centre for Economic Performance. Renowned for his work on the causes and consequences of spatial disparities, Professor Overman was awarded an OBE for services to Local Growth.
