Highly Commended - LSE LIFE Prize
Nigeria has the third highest infant mortality rate in the world. Accessible maternal healthcare is invaluable in uplifting women, their families and their communities as a whole. However, women of colour and women in developing countries are repeatedly failed by wholly inadequate healthcare systems leading to wholly preventable deaths.
