About me

George received his PhD in Philosophy of Science in 2007 from the London School of Economics, and has completed a PGCE in Mathematics at Kings College in 2009 and previously earned a BSc in Physics (Queen Mary College 1992) and an MSc in Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces (Imperial College, 1993).  His research concentrated on the philosophical foundations of quantum mechanics and he is particularly interested in the resolutions of the paradoxes associated with quantum theory. His main focus is on the Popper experiment, a variant of the EPR thought experiment.

George has lectured and taught for the departments of Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Management, Philosophy and LSE100 at the LSE since 2000 both at graduate and undergraduate levels. He is currently teaching for the departments of Statistics and Mathematics and he is also a Lecturer for the Economics BSc at New College of the Humanities. He has been awarded three teaching awards from the Mathematics and the Philosophy department of the London School of Economics.
