Meet our speaker and chair
Christian Lindner (@BMF_Bund) is Germany’s Federal Minister of Finance and a member of the German parliament (Bundestag). Lindner was elected party leader of the Free Democrats in December 2013. He studied political science, philosophy and public law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn. Between 1997 and 2004 he owned an advertising agency and was co-founder of an IT-business. Lindner is a major of the German Air Force reserve.
Eric Neumayer is LSE President and Vice Chancellor on an interim basis. In September 2020 he was appointed as Vice President and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Planning and Resources).
