The 2025 Undergraduate and NSS surveys launch at the start of Winter Term 2025, we want to tell you about how we have responded to recent student feedback
Here are some examples of actions we have taken in response to student feedback over the past year. We hope they encourage you to engage with this term's surveys!
We have
- provided extension cords in the Student Common Room
- provided free sanitary products (available in third floor kitchen)
- given substantial financial support to the joint Economic History and International History Societies Ball
- liaised with other problems to troubleshoot iessues and improve communcations with joint departments.
- engaged with geography department to ensure joint students are included on future field trips
Additionally
- thanks to positive feedback, we are now in third year of weekly winter breakfasts
- we have expanded departmental alumni mentoring scheme to second year undergraduates
- we are planning to expand Welcome activites to help students meet others on their programme
While your feedback can lead to improvements for economic history students, adding your voice to the Undergraduate Survey or NSS will also contribute to the development of improvements benefiting all students. Student feedback has been vital for to the introduction of better learning and assessment technologies, mental health support, extra-curricular opportunities and a more friendly and accessible campus.
