In this event, Dr Fiona Hill, a leading national security expert and best-selling author, discussed Putin's Russia, America's future, and the implications of Russia's invasion of Ukraine for the future of European security and democracy.
Fiona Hill is a senior fellow in the Center on the United States and Europe at the Brookings Institution. She served as national intelligence officer for Russia and Eurasia from 2006 to 2009 and senior director for Europe and Russia at the National Security Council from 2017 to 2019. She is author of There Is Nothing for You Here: Finding Opportunity in the 21st Century and co-author of Mr Putin: Operative in the Kremlin.
Kristina Spohr is Professor in the Department of International History at LSE. She is a specialist in the International History of Germany since 1945 and interested in questions of World Order, Diplomacy and Strategy and the practice of Applied History.
Peter Trubowitz (@ptrubowitz) is Professor of International Relations and Director of the Phelan US Centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science and Associate Fellow at Chatham House.
