Kaveh is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Data Science within “The Inclusion Initiative” at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His work focuses on utilizing Machine Learning and Econometric techniques to measure and infer the impact of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) on firms’ performance. Kaveh also maintains visiting affiliations with the Brevan Howard Centre for Financial Analysis and the Centre for Climate Finance & Investment (CCFI) at Imperial College London.
Previously, Kaveh was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London, working with Dr. Enrico Biffis on topics related to mathematical finance, machine learning, and econometrics, particularly in relation to climate issues. He completed his Ph.D. research in Econometric Theory and Statistics (Nonparametric Inference and Granger Causality Analysis) under the supervision of Professor Abderrahim Taamouti at Durham University. Following this, he worked as a Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Lancaster University. There, he collaborated with Dr. Alex Gibberd (Lancaster University) and Dr. Anders Bredahl Kock (University of Oxford) on a project involving High-Dimensional Statistics / High-Dimensional Econometrics, which was a collaborative effort among Lancaster University, the University of Oxford, and the Office for National Statistics (ONS).
Additionally, Kaveh has undertaken research consultancy projects for various financial institutions and start-ups.
