About me

Devi is a Research Officer in Behavioural Science at TII where she is working on the Diversity and Productivity from Education and Work project. Her research will focus on the links between diversity and inclusion, firm outcomes, and mental health.

Devi is currently completing her PhD in Education at the University of Manchester where her research focuses on the conceptualisation and measurement of young people’s subjective wellbeing and the longitudinal associations between school experiences and wellbeing. Her research interests are in social policy, education psychology, and psychometrics, in particular applying quantitative methods of factor analysis and structural equation modelling. Devi has previously worked in research roles at The Wellbeing Research Centre at the University of Oxford; at #BeeWell, a project run by The Greater Manchester Combined Authority and The University of Manchester; and in teaching roles at schools and universities in India and in the UK. Devi holds a BA in Comparative Literature from University College London and an MSc in Social Policy from The London School of Economics.
