Philanthropic support founded LSE and has played an integral role in our development ever since. Your support and shared vision to “understand the causes of things, for the betterment of society” ensures that we continue to shape the world through developing new approaches to the world’s most pressing challenges.
Through regular giving, you have the opportunity to support specific areas that are important to you and in keeping with the School’s priorities. Together, we can empower people and research to shape our world for good.
Supporting students throughout the COVID-19 pandemic
We rely on our students – and the world relies on the LSE alumni they become. During this ongoing period of uncertainty, we wish to support our student’s mental health and offer financial help to those struggling economically. Your support in enabling us to do this is crucial.
You can choose to help brilliant young people at LSE through the below funds:
- Student Hardship Fund - Supporting LSE students who are facing unexpected immediate hardship as a result of the coronavirus pandemic
- Student Wellbeing Fund - Providing crucial support to LSE students by strengthening our offering of mental health and wellbeing provision during the coronavirus pandemic
- Student Support Scholarship Fund - Giving financial assistance for scholarships and bursaries to ensure they can complete their studies, regardless of any change to their economic circumstances
Help us lead the social science response to COVID-19
COVID-19 also represents an enormous challenge for the social sciences to help governments and policy-makers respond effectively to the pandemic.
The COVID-19 LSE Response Fund will help provide research solutions for a world in need.
It helps us grow our research projects and knowledge-exchange activities to be able to offer expert knowledge, analysis and advice to national and international policy-makers.
