LSE Entrepreneurs' Pledge

Join an exclusive community of entrepreneurs with a passion for LSE’s work, ideals and vision to shape the world.

What is the LSE Entrepreneurs’ Pledge?

The LSE Entrepreneurs' Pledge, delivered in collaboration with LSE Generate, is a brand-new giving opportunity, inviting our growing community of entrepreneurs and innovators to pledge their support to the School today – but only make the donation when they are in a position to do so.

The LSE alumni community includes many entrepreneurs and founders from all around the globe. If you are one of them, you are invited to make a personal, non-binding pledge now to support LSE in the future.

LSE Entrepreneurs' Pledge

  • The LSE Entrepreneurs' Pledge is an opportunity for founders to join an exclusive community looking to support the next generation of innovators at LSE. We welcome anyone who wishes to make a philanthropic pledge to give in the future.
  • Name
  • I would like to make the LSE Entrepreneurs’ Pledge. I am indicating that I wish to support the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) philanthropically in the future with a portion of my proceeds from an exit/liquidity event of my business. I will contact the Philanthropy and Global Engagement Office when I am ready to explore giving opportunities or make a gift.

Your future gift can support whatever area of LSE matters most to you. You may choose to champion an enterprise initiative through LSE Generate. Or you may choose to fund a scholarship to support a student to pursue their LSE education. Or you may choose to help us shape the world through funding research into the global challenges LSE's world-leading academics are working on. In short: you control the amount, timing, and destination of your eventual gift to LSE. As an entrepreneur you are already helping to innovate the future; your gift can help power the next generation of founders, scholars and experts.

LSE welcomes all entrepreneurial alumni to join this growing community through the Entrepreneurs’ Pledge.

To find out more, please email Harry Hughes, Philanthropy Manager, at: a.hughes2@lse.ac.uk.

How does it work?

By making the pledge now, you are signifying your future intention to support the LSE community in the future. Then, when you are in a position and ready to share your success, usually upon experiencing a liquidity event, let us know. We will work with you to facilitate your gift, ensuring it makes a difference to whatever area of LSE's work matters most to you; this could include entrepreneurship, student scholarships or research. You have full control of the amount, timing, and destination of your eventual gift to LSE.

By making the LSE Entrepreneurs’ Pledge now, your philanthropic goals can:

  • Become an integral part of your business success
  • Demonstrate your commitment to giving back
  • Inspire others through your professional and philanthropic experiences

As an LSE Entrepreneur Pledger, you will have the support of our team who will help you take advantage of the LSE entrepreneurial ecosystem, including resources for recruitment and networking to support you along your professional success journey.
