When can I book accommodation?

You can book accommodation as soon as you have received your offer to study at the LSE Summer School.  You must first have created your LSE Public Account as you will need to use the same username and password to access the LSE Accommodation booking system.  Details on how to create an LSE Public Account will have been sent to you by the LSE Summer School office during your application process.

I want to share with a friend - how can we book?

To share a room, all students must be attending the LSE Summer School. Each student needs to complete the booking process separately. If you would like us to allocate you with another student(s), all students must book the same room type, in the same hall, for the same dates.

To enable us to match roommates, both students must list each other as their preferred roommate at the time of booking. Please note that any roommate requests must be made at least 1 week prior to arrival.

Can I stay in a twin or triple room if I don’t have a friend to stay with?

Yes. If you do not have a preference for a roommate, we will match you with another Summer School student of the same gender.

Can I live with my parent/sibling/relative in a twin room if they’re not studying on the LSE Summer School?

No. We only have a limited number of rooms available, so we are unable to offer rooms to relatives as we need to ensure accommodation for LSE Summer School students. However, relatives can book rooms separately at: https://stayatlse.co.uk

Can I stay on after LSE Summer School has finished?

Yes, subject to availability. Check at https://stayatlse.co.uk/ or contact stay@lse.ac.uk.

Can I book a room for fewer than 20 nights?

No. Accommodation for each session is for 20 nights and cannot be shortened.

Preparatory English Course accommodation is for 7 nights and cannot be shortened.
