Interested in documenting your LSE student experience?

We're looking for LSE Content Creators and Student Bloggers!

Both roles are flexible part-time roles, based in the Student Marketing Team.

Both opportunities are a great way for you to gain new skills, as well as develop your existing ones. You'll gain valuable communication and presentation skills, and expertise in creating inspiring and informative content that reaches thousands of students.

You will be paid hourly, at £15.60 per hour.

Content Creator

As a Content Creator, you'll be creating content that depicts life at LSE for prospective students. You'll be involved in:

  • content creation (vlogs and social media campaigns),
  • content strategy and planning, and
  • collaborating with relevant stakeholders

You can hear about our previous student vlogger, Saemi's experience here.

Previous experience with social media and video editing is desirable but not essential, however a creative eye and motivation to learn is a must! You will receive guidance from the Student Marketing and Social Media teams.

Student Blogger

As a Student Blogger, you'll be writing for our Students@LSE blog, aimed at prospective students, to give them an insight into life at LSE - from academics to student life and living in London. As a blogger, you are expected to write between two and four posts per month. Each post should not be longer than 700 words.

It should take you approximately one hour to write one blog post and one hour to proof read it, so bloggers are typically paid for two hours of work per post.

We'll provide training on using WordPress and guidelines about writing for the blog.
