Xinyang Yu is a Research Officer in the Department of Statistics at LSE, working with Professor Qiwei Yao on research in dynamic network analysis. His work centers on developing advanced modeling frameworks and scalable algorithms for dynamic networks, with a strong focus on establishing rigorous theoretical guarantees and efficient computational solutions. Prior to his upcoming appointment at the London School of Economics (LSE) in 2025, he obtained his PhD in Applied Mathematics from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he was supervised by Professor Binyan Jiang and Professor Defeng Sun.
