Milt is a guest lecturer in the Statistics department, currently teaching ST202. He is also the lead lecturer for the introductory statistics course ME116 at the LSE Summer School. He has a strong interest in teaching and statistical communication, with a particular emphasis on the use of interactive techniques in the classroom.
In his professional work, he is a senior quantitative analyst at a sports betting consultancy, where he focuses on the statistical modelling of sports and financial markets. He is mainly interested in problems related to state-space modelling and high-dimensional filtering. He studied mathematics at Cambridge as an undergraduate, then joined LSE where he completed his MSc and PhD in statistics. He has also taught at Imperial College and the London Business School.
