LSE is committed to improving equity and diversity across the School. LSE featured in Stonewall’s ‘Top 100 Employers 2019’ list. It has recently achieved an institutional Athena SWAN Bronze award. We are also very proud to announce that our application for an Athena SWAN bronze award was successful! A bronze award recognises our commitment to advancing women’s careers, and promotion of equality and inclusivity more generally. There are many supportive staff networks within the School.
Here in the Department of Statistics, we have a strong commitment to promote Equality, for example:
- we have a WiS+ (Women in Statistics) group which holds informal meetings when all staff and PhD students in the Department who identify as women can get together.
