What is Green Impact?
Green Impact has been designed to bring teams together to learn more about sustainability and raise awareness both of what LSE is up to, but more importantly, to enable staff to become more engaged with sustainability in its various forms. It focuses on continual improvement, collaboration and meaningful change.
Our Green Impact team is made up of staff and students who are passionate about sustainability and concerned about the environment. We're committed to ensuring sustainability is factored into every area of department life. This means working on practical measures to make the department more sustainable and running initiatives to promote sustainable thinking and actions.
Green Impact 2023-24
In the 2023-24 academic year, the Department of Statistics was involved in Green Impact where staff and students worked to reduce the School's environmental impact. We won the Bronze Award in recognition of our work and impact!
This year we continue to participate in the Green Impact programme. We welcome students to come forward and take part in the Green Impact programme. If you have any ideas on green-themed projects, the Department would consider to support you.
If you have any comments and/or suggestions, please contact the team.
