Every year we put on events for our current UG, MSc and PhD students so they can socialise with our wonderful (that's you guys!) Alumni. Each Autumn Term there is a 'Department of Statistics Careers panel' where we have around five esteemed Alumni who come and chat about what they do in their role since graduating from LSE and how their degree has helped them in their role. It's a formal panel with a Q&A session at the end and is always very well attended by our Statistics students! Each Winter Term we have our annual Alumni Mixer which is a fantastic event and we had many of our Alumni turn up and speak to our current students and answer all of their questions in a very informal setting with nibbles and drinks.
We had our inagural virtual 'Women in Statistics' Alumni panel in March 2021 which was fantastic and is something we hope to run again in future. If this is something that you would be interested in being a part of, please drop Penelope Smith an email!
