In exceptional circumstances a student may substitute an outside paper for paper 12. This outside paper should be both of an advanced nature and coherent with the student's other choice of papers. Permission to take such a paper should first be obtained by writing to the Undergraduate Tutor in the first instance. Any subsequent revision to the student's choice of papers must also be approved.
