Course content
See course content for EC485. Additionally, this course will examine more advanced theories and applications in Econometric Theory. Recent developments in the field will be discussed, giving students an insight into the process by which research is conducted, and suggesting fruitful areas for research.
Teaching
20 hours of EC485 Topics in Advanced Econometrics lectures and 10 hours of EC518 lectures in each of the MT and the LT.
This course is delivered through a combination of classes and lectures totalling a minimum of 40 hours across Michaelmas Term and Lent Term. This year, some or all of this teaching will be delivered through a combination of virtual classes, live streamed (recorded) lectures, and some flipped content delivered as short online videos. Attendance at lectures and classes is compulsory.

Exam (50%, duration: 2 hours) in the January exam period.
