At the discretion of the Programme Directors, students may be given the flexibility to choose an additional course from one institution, up to a total of four courses between both institutions under Papers 5, 6, 7 & 8. For example, three courses from LSE under Papers 5 & 6 and one course from LSHTM under Papers 7 & 8, or vice versa.

It is not always possible to offer students a place on each of their preferred courses. This is particularly the case where courses are offered outside the Department of Health Policy (i.e. not prefixed with 'HP').
