Course critical to assessment:
A degree cannot be awarded unless the following designated course has been passed in each respective programme:
MSc Culture and Society = SO493
MSc Economy, Risk and Society = SO495
MSc Inequalities and Social Science = SO497
MSc International Migration and Public Policy = SO499
MSc Political Sociology = SO494
MSc Sociology = SO499
MSc Sociology (Contemporary Social Thought) = SO499
MSc Sociology (Research) = SO499

Distinction/Merit borderline (scheme paragraph 3.3.2):
Classification for students with mark profiles falling into this range will always be determined to the advantage of the student.

Merit/Pass borderline (scheme paragraph 3.3.4):
Classification for students with mark profiles falling into this range will always be determined to the advantage of the student.
