LSE LIFE
LSE LIFE is the School's centre for academic, personal, and professional development. It is open year-round to undergraduate and taught master's students for support, guidance, and ideas about how to succeed in their studies and extend their learning and discovery beyond the classroom.
LSE LIFE offers talks and practical workshops to build experience and confidence in areas including academic reading and writing, communication, critical thinking, planning and conducting research, reflection to set and meet one's own objectives, and time management. Workshop materials and lecture recordings are also available on-line.
Students can also have one-to-one appointments at LSE LIFE with specialist study advisers to discuss any of these areas or other questions related to their experience at LSE. Research specialists from the Library, English-language experts from the Language Centre, career advisers from LSE Careers, and other partners from around the School are also available for appointments.
All talks, workshops, and appointments are optional and free of charge. Booking is required for talks and workshops.
LSE LIFE, located on the ground floor of the library, also provides ample, pleasant study space for students to meet and work together collaboratively.
