An examination of South East Europe from a politics and international relations perspective, with particular emphasis on post-1989 developments. Topics include: The Balkans and Historical Legacies; Disintegration of Yugoslavia and the International System; the Western Balkans after Yugoslavia; the EU and the Eastern Balkans; EU Enlargement and South-Eastern Europe; Greece and European Foreign Policy; Greece's Policy in the Balkans; Turkey and the EU; Cyprus and the EU. 

10 hours of lectures and 15 hours of seminars in the LT. 1 hour and 30 minutes of seminars in the ST.
