Scheme for the Award of a Taught Masters Degree for Students Entering From 2015/16: Sub-Board 'local rules'

For students starting in 2014/15: |

Course critical to assessment: None |

Distinction/Merit borderline (scheme paragraph 5.3.2 of classification scheme published in 2014/15): Students with a mark profile of 5.3.2 (d) will require an aggregate of 280 in order to be awarded a Distinction overall. |

Merit/Pass borderline (scheme paragraph 5.3.4 of classification scheme published in 2014/15): Students with mark profiles falling into this range will always be awarded a Pass degree. |

For students who undertake the Finance options under Paper 4 of the Programme Regulations (courses starting FM), the final mark for the purpose of classification will be determined by calculating the average of the marks of the exam and the essay of each course taken, producing a single final mark. |
