Student coping strategies during COVID by Adam Gill

I conducted a qualitative investigation through a focus group for my MY421 research project to uncover the ways postgraduate students at LSE experienced socialising throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

The results highlighted various coping strategies students utilised including escapism, hope, inclusivity, social media, and reconciling change.

The research highlights the unique challenges students have faced over the last year while demonstrating their resilience and readiness for the post-COVID world.

The condensation water droplets on the window represent us being trapped inside, while the various coping strategies are visible in the droplets; inclusivity, social media, hope, escapism, and reconciling change.
