Timo Leiter is a research student in the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at LSE. His PhD research explores how progress on climate change adaptation can be assessed at global, national and sub-national level.
He has ten years’ experience working on climate change adaptation and international development. Before joining LSE, he worked at the climate policy team of Germany's international development agency (GIZ), including in Tanzania. Timo is a lead author of UNEP'S Adaptation Gap Report and a contributing author to the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report on Impacts, Vulnerability and Adaptation.
