Enrolment at LSE is a two-part process, your pre-enrolment, which gives you access to your LSE email address and a Registration Pass to access campus, and campus enrolment, where your documents are checked and you will be issued with your LSE ID card.

Phase A: Pre-enrolment

You will receive an email notification inviting you to pre-enrol. During this process you will need to confirm some of your details before you will be able to activate your LSE email account. You will then also be able print your Registration Pass that you can use to walk around on campus before campus enrolment. The online pre-enrolment process will help to ensure that we have all the necessary and up to date information about you.

Download your Pre-enrolment Pass that you can use on campus for temporary access when you first arrive.

Phase B: Campus enrolment:

You need to have completed pre-enrolment before you can enrol on campus. During enrolment, your documents, passport and visa will be checked.

  • MSc Philosophy and Public Policy: Thursday 26 September 13:15 – 13:30
  • MSc Philosophy of Economics and the Social Sciences: Thursday 26 September 2021, 13:15 – 13:30
  • MSc Philosophy of Science: Thursday 21 September 13:00 – 13:15

Although the waiting times for enrolment have improved since we introduced pre-enrolment, please be prepared for some waiting times. You can speed things up by having all your documents ready. A full list can be found on the enrolment help pages. If you do not have all required documents, you will be sent away and have to come back at a later date.

If you are arriving later, enrolment slots will be available between Monday 23 to Friday 27 September between 9.00am – 9.45am for students who missed their enrolment slot on previous days in the main enrolment period. These late enrolment sessions will be bookable via the StudentHub and can only be used for students whose enrolment session has already passed.

We strongly advise against it but if you miss your published enrolment session and you are unable to make a booking for the morning late enrolment sessions, you should enrol between 12.45am and 4.30pm on Friday 27 September as the designated late enrolment day.

Please note that the time of published enrolment sessions and booked late enrolment slots are the time students should join the queue, not the time they will be enrolled.

Course choice will not be impacted by late enrolment. You will be able to make your course selection if you have pre-enrolled.
